Fruit Tide: Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

This policy applies to the mobile game Fruit Tide: Merge Puzzle ("Fruit Tide", "the app"). In short: the Android version shows ads through Google AdMob and offers a one-time purchase to remove them. The iOS and web versions currently have no ads and no purchases and collect no data.

Who is responsible

The controller is AppKadag (Kemal Cetinkaya), Germany. Contact: appkadag@gmail.com.

Summary

All versions have no accounts, no analytics of our own and no crash reporting of our own, and we operate no server that receives your data. The Android version (1.0.3 and later) contains Google AdMob ads (interstitial and rewarded) and an in-app purchase "Remove Ads" via Google Play Billing. The iOS and web versions contain no ads, no in-app purchases and no tracking, do not use the advertising identifier, and work fully offline.

Data stored on your device

Your best score, your settings (sound, haptics, tutorial seen) and, on Android, whether you own Remove Ads are saved locally on your device so the game can remember them. This data stays on your device, we cannot see it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app. Because we do not receive it, it is not personal data processed by us. Local storage is necessary to provide the game you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Advertising (Google AdMob, Android only)

The Android version is free and is supported by ads shown through Google AdMob: full-screen interstitial ads at natural breaks, and optional rewarded videos that you choose to watch for a bonus (for example to continue a game). There are no banner ads.

To serve ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use data from your device, such as your IP address (approximate location), device and advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID) where available, app interactions, and diagnostics such as crash and performance information. The data is used for showing and measuring ads, fraud prevention and analytics. Google acts as an independent controller for this data under Google's Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the AdMob data disclosure. We do not receive personal data from Google and we do not sell your data. Data may be transferred to Google servers outside the EEA, including the United States, under Google's safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Google may use it to show personalised ads.

Legal basis: where required (EEA, UK), your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TDDDG, collected through Google's consent form. Elsewhere, we rely on our legitimate interest in funding a free game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Consent and your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform, UMP) before any ad is requested. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time in the app under Settings, Privacy Options, which appears where required. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your Android device settings (Settings, Privacy, Ads). The one-time purchase "Remove Ads" removes the ads for good.

Purchases (Android)

The one-time purchase "Remove Ads" (2.99 EUR) is processed entirely by Google Play. Payment and purchase data is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We never receive your payment details. The app only keeps a purchase token on your device and asks Google Play whether you own the purchase, so it can apply it and let you restore it on a new device (Settings, Restore Purchases). Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Third parties and links

Apart from Google AdMob and Google Play Billing on Android, the app has no third-party SDKs that process your data. Links in the Settings screen (for example this page or the store page) open in your browser or in the App Store or Google Play, which are governed by their own privacy policies. Your device, operating system and app store (Apple or Google) process their own data under their own policies, for example when you download the app. We have no control over this.

Permissions

On Android the app needs internet access for ads and the purchase check. It does not use your microphone, camera, contacts, location or Bluetooth.

Retention

We hold no personal data on our own servers. Local data stays on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies.

Children

Fruit Tide is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will help.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. We hold no personal data about you on our own servers, so there is usually nothing for us to export or delete. For data processed by Google, use the controls above and Google's own privacy tools. You may contact us at appkadag@gmail.com with any privacy question or request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work (in Germany, for example, the competent state data protection authority).

Security

Local game data is kept in the app's private storage on your device. Communication with ad and store services uses encrypted connections provided by the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google Play.

Changes

If a future version changes how data is processed (for example ads or purchases on iOS), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
